Our staff consists of professionals with personal and commercial insurance experience. Each employee is highly dedicated to providing our clients with the best possible customer service and account management in the industry. Rest assured, our team will effectively and efficiently assist clients in a timely manner.


Jim Gentile – Owner & Manager: Jim is the owner and manager of LaSalle Insurance Specialists. Jim has over 35 years of combined experience as a licensed insurance agent and broker of financial services. After graduating from the University of Connecticut in 1983 Jim competed as a touring golf professional for three years before starting his financial services career in 1985 with Dean Witter Reynolds. Jim also worked for E.F. Hutton & Advest.  In 2001, Jim ventured with PBI so he could link his securities and insurance licenses with an employee benefit specialist. As the owner and manager of LaSalle Insurance Specialists, Jim advises clients concerning risk, benefits and investments.  Jim’s hobbies include playing golf and rating golf courses  for Golfweek Magazine. Jim is a contributor and member of numerous local and national charities


Susan Anton – Account Manager:  Sue is licensed in Property and Casualty and has over 20 years working in the Dental/Medical field which makes her a great fit with our team of Account Managers. Sue’s friendly demeanor and professional work experience are exactly what our oral surgeons have come to expect from the service team at LaSalle Insurance. Sue resides in the greater Hartford area with her husband, has 2 grown children and a beautiful rescue dog that will be a frequent visitor in our office.


Lori Ray – Office Manager/Account Manager

LA Ray – Office Manager/Account Executive: Lori is licensed in Property and Casualty and has worked with the OMSNIC program since May of 2011. Lori has over 30 years of administrative experience including being the CT Office Administrator for Duck Creek Technologies as a liaison between 3 nationwide offices for Insurance Internet Technology. Lori also worked for Executive Network & Research Associates where her experience as an Executive Management Recruiter was invaluable in developing her executive-relations skill set. Lori is a service oriented individual and served with Hartford City Mission for 3 years. She also served on a short-term medical mission trip to Constanza, Dominican Republic.


Jill Fitzgerald – Bookkeeper

Jill Fitzgerald  – Bookkeeper: Jill is a Quickbooks Pro Advisor. She has a background in Office Administration and works as an independent contractor providing bookkeeping services and assistance with office operations.


Dorothy McKeon - Account Manager

Dorothy McKeon – Senior Account Manager:  Dorothy is licensed in Property and Casualty. Dorothy  has a diverse background that has taken her across the country and back again. Her administrative experience has roots in advertising, marketing, recruiting, and insurance. Dorothy is diligent with detail and follow through. Besides being a very proud mother of two daughters, she is an avid supporter of the theater and Performing Arts, both on and off stage, professional and amateur.
